The fastest way to review a profile update is to submit the profile URL, the specific fact that needs attention, and a relevant source link. A firm website, official attorney profile, or other reliable professional source gives editors useful context.
Submit a profile correctionUse the correction form to identify the directory profile, describe the update, and include a source URL when one is available.
For firm-submitted changes, we ask the sender to confirm that they are authorized and that the information is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
An editor checks whether the requested change is clear, supportable, and appropriate for the profile. We may compare it with the firm website or another relevant public professional source.
We typically respond within 1–2 business days. Some requests need additional context or take longer when source information conflicts or a material claim needs further review.
| Request type | Typical supporting material | Review note |
|---|---|---|
| Contact or office details | Firm contact page or official profile | We update clear factual corrections when support is available. |
| Attorney or firm information | Firm bio, official bar profile, or firm announcement | We may request clarification if the source does not identify the listed office or attorney. |
| Practice-area or website link | Relevant firm practice page | We review whether the source supports the requested profile description. |
| Case result or accolade | Firm-provided source or verifiable official record | Material claims may require additional review and are not presented as predicted outcomes. |
A submitted correction does not guarantee placement, a ranking change, a source badge, or an endorsement. We do not use correction requests to assess legal quality, predict results, or resolve legal disputes. For legal advice about a trucking accident, consult a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction.
Anyone may report a factual issue. Attorneys, law firms, and authorized representatives can request a profile claim or update through the correction form and should provide a supporting source link when available.
We typically respond within 1–2 business days. A request may take longer when the information is incomplete, source materials conflict, or the request concerns a material claim that needs additional review.
Contact details, office location, firm name, attorney names, website links, practice-area information, and other factual profile details may be reviewed. We do not treat a correction request as a guarantee of placement, ranking, endorsement, or a review score change.
